Torquay United ran an "A" team in the South Devon League from 1952/53 to 1965/66 inclusive. Playing at Cricketfield Road, under the management of Ralph Calland, they did the treble of South Devon League, Herald Cup and Devon Senior Cup in the 1963/64 season.
